Here are some images via my flickr page: Some of my time at the Musical Instrument Museum. I taught Flamenco Music & Dance Classes to kids with Chris Burton Jacome. As you can see, some parents jumped in and learned some Sevillanas as well!

Other images are from my time in Ashland, Oregon as I taught a 3-day flamenco dance workshop in conjunction to a performance with the CBJ Flamenco Ensemble and Ashland-based, Flamenco Duo at Southern Oregon University.

Other images are from my Flamenco! Coffee Table Book and from Sergio Photographer as he shot images during a one day rehearsal and performance at The Chandler Center for the Arts.

Other images are from the Rhythm and Roots Series based in Tucson of the CBJ Flamenco Ensemble’s time at Plaza Palomino taken by photographer Bob Block.

Images of a few of the many projects I’m proud to be a part of!!!

I’ve received so many inquiries and compliments regarding the Flamenco! Coffee Table Book, so I wanted to share with all of you the graphic designer genius that put together some of my ideas and literally created an outstanding work of art which in my humble opinion is unparalleled creativity and design mastery.  I highly recommend Heath Cox of Cox Studios Inc to anyone in need of graphic design or exhibit design work.  I can’t say enough great things about Heath.  He’s a very patient, highly detailed and extremely artistic graphic designer with great integrity. Visit his website at www.coxstudiosinc.com

Here’s a brief video clip of my performance with the Chris Burton Jácome Flamenco Ensemble at the Phoenix Art Museum sponsored by the Latin American Art Alliance in November 2011.  This is part of a flamenco dance in the palo of tientos.  The evening included  flamenco dance and music with a fusion of Mariachi music from where, Chris Burton Jácome’s brainchild, ¡FlaMéxico! was born.

Happy Holidays

December 27, 2011

It’s been a wonderful year of flamenco dancing, performing and teaching.  I’m thoroughly excited about the New Year and the many projects awaiting in 2012.  Stay tuned for more touring performances with The Chris Burton Jácome Flamenco Ensemble and local Arizona performances in ‘The Valley of the Sun‘.
