This image was taken by the talented Sylvia Hardt Photography and graphics by Mele Martinez. I’m really looking forward to this event. The staff at Casa Vicente are so kind and the food is exceptional. Flamenco del Peblo Viejo is the resident company at Casa Vicente. You can see them perform every Friday and Saturday Night. Make sure to visit their website for upcoming events and classes.  This is a perfect outing in celebration of Mother’s Day!

I was able to travel to Tucson to attend the dance workshop offered by Auxi Fernández on the 28th, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I was also able to attend most of the concert that was performed that same evening, which was so wonderful!

Both Mele and Jason offer flamenco classes for both adults and children. Make sure and check out their website if you live in the area and you are looking learn about the beautiful are form.
