“Asking the proper question is the central action of transformation- in fairy tales, in analysis, and in individuation. The key question causes germination of consciousness. The properly shaped question always emanates from an essential curiosity about what stands behind. Questions are the keys that cause the secret doors of the psyche to swing open.”

It’s Friday Let’s Dance
April 26, 2013
Guess what I’m doing today? That’s right. Dancing my booty off. I’ve been performing every Friday Night at Province Restaurant in downtown Phoenix. Hopefully you can find some time to squeeze in a little bit of dancing during your weekend; whether it be in the literal sense of the word… or figuratively.
Wishing you a fabulous Friday and an enjoyable weekend!
Sincerely,

“I prayed for change, so I changed my mind.
I prayed for guidance and learned to trust myself.
I prayed for happiness and realized I am not my ego.
I prayed for peace and learned to accept others unconditionally.
I prayed for abundance and realized my doubt kept it out.
I prayed for wealth and realized it is my health.
I prayed for a miracle and realized I am the miracle.
I prayed for a soul mate and realized I am the One.
I prayed for love and realized it’s always knocking, but I have to allow it in.”

About a month ago I performed with a good friend and a talented dancer, Liliana de Leon Torsiello. She has her dance company Flamenco de Leon which I had the opportunity to partake in at Scottsdale Center for the Arts. I loved the below image taken by so I thought that I would share.
Wishing you a wonderful Friday.

The spiritual path is not a matter of growing more
metaphysically complicated; it’s a process where we actually grow simpler and simpler, as we apply certain basic principles to everything we go through.
We don’t learn love, which is already etched on our hearts; we do, however, begin to unlearn fear.
And with every change we make from blame to blessing, we pierce the veil of illusion that separates us from the world we want.

“She woke up one morning and realized that she could no longer be sad. It was then that she realized that the intent had not been for her to mourn her loss but to open up her heart, so that light could shine through once again. It was then that she found her soul joy that fear, doubt and anxiety had bound was not dead but waiting patiently for her to wake up. Being a woman is no small feat.”
