Flamenco in Indonesia

October 18, 2012

I’ll be traveling to Jakarta, Indonesia next week with Chris to perform and offer a few Flamenco Music & Dance outreach programs to various organization. This will be my first visit to Indonesia and I’m thoroughly excited! Some trivia (according to www.Refdesk.com):

The capital and largest city of Indonesia, on the northeast coast of Java. Founded c. 1619 by the Dutch, it became an important center of the Dutch East India Company and was renamed Jakarta after Indonesia became independent in 1949. Population: 8,840,000.

Sincerely,

Lena Jácome
