Upcoming Concert: Desert Botanical Garden

October 27, 2008

Looking for flamenco on Halloween? Well look no more!  I will be performing with the Chris Burton Jacome Flamenco Ensemble including Guest Artist: Martin Gaxiola, Palmera: Lourdes Rodriguez, Bassist: Adrian Goldenthal, Percussionist: Kris Hill & Flamenco Guitarist: Chris Burton Jacome at Desert Botanical Garden’s Music in the Garden Series.  Save the date:  7pm on Friday, October 31st – Halloween!! This is a beautiful outdoor concert venue where you can eat, enjoy a glass of wine and an amazing concert.  This concert has sold out three years in a row so make sure and show up early to secure a great seat.

On a side note: I’ve included more photos regarding the phenomenal trip with Calo Flamenco to Fairbanks, Alaska.

The view from the airplane as we begin to arrive into Anchorage.

I love this photo, taken during the lighting tech.

Taken at the Chena Hot Springs.  We had just departed from the healing, soothing mineral waters.  Chris & I sat with Martin & Rhonda (of the Fairbanks Concert Association).  I remember feeling very thirsty after an hour and a half dip in the springs.

Hanging out at the airport at 5am waiting to depart from Fairbanks – on our way to Eugene, Oregon (Pictured with me – Olivia Rojas).

Group Calo photo.  Eating lunch after a 1/2 stage run through at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene, Oregon.

Enjoying the beautiful afternoon weather in Eugene.

November is just around the corner and it is a busy month!  Make sure and stop by my webpage for upcoming performances.
